what to do with leftover string?

so ive got a lotttt of scraps of string, and im a bit of a hoarder so i hate throwing things away unless im absolutely sure i cant make any more use of it. i was wondering if theres anything i could do with these leftover pieces of string? theyre mostly about an inch long

ive been using them to make tiny necklaces for plastic babies or other toys that i put on the kandi. But in order to tie the knot you need a little length, one inch may be too short even for that.

i’m making a bag out of 4 point stars right now and i’m using string scraps to tie em together but those scraps r like 2 in long so idk

great question! I find myself keeping bits of string as well, but if they are only about an inch long i would toss them out, clear up space and buy new string when you run out, anything less than 6in let it go.
